Biker Girl Poem by gershon hepner

Biker Girl

“It doesn’t have to be a Harley,
a Yamaha would do as well, ”
she told me, for she was a dolly,
and not an angel sent from hell.
“Ducatis have a lot of speed,
but anything that comes with wheels
will turn me on when I’ve the need.”
That’s also how the lady feels
about the men whose company
she craves, for she will sit behind
whoever has a sturdy knee
and waist around which she can bind
her arms, and lips and tongue to match
her own when she is feeling horny.
For her generic has no catch,
which cynics may consider corny,
but that’s the sort of girl I’d like,
while I’m in front, to sit behind me,
for when she isn’t on my bike
I know she’ll find a way to find me.

Inspired by an afternoon in a bikers’ bar on the Mulholland Highway near the vanished town of Cornell.
