Birdsongs Welcoming Blessing New Dawn Poem by Terence George Craddock

Birdsongs Welcoming Blessing New Dawn

Rating: 5.0

there are still pristine wilderness places
where sudden ecstatic noise an intensity
dawn birdsong wakes heart mind soul
into irresistible awe river stream wonder

appreciation rippling with the rapid heartbeat
dawn song sung by a chorus of unseen birds
singing in orchestra celebration worshipping
birth new life in breaking dawn vapour mist

watching spreading first rays
creeping yellow red finger
scratching gentle dawn light

slow time wakes light dawn creeping light
sung into cacophony competing welcomes
birdsongs welcoming blessing new dawn
