Birthday is reminder
that you are growing older
day by day
and the journey is cut all the way

one may feel
oh! this is a special day to fill
new aspirations
for improving upon

what can one take as a clue?
a find look at past to review
and plan for what remains due!
just honestly pursue

life is no bed of roses
yes we make a choice
with resolve and promises
life shall have no misses

birthday is an eye-opener
and serves as a reminder
grow in an age with responsibility
and pray that you have fulfilled the goal given by an almighty
