You and me became friends
so many, many years ago
starting school together
p.s.#28 is where we'd go.

Many memories were made
growing up through the years
Lots of good times remembered
and sometimes there were tears.

I can remember with detail
the times we'd hang out
and drumming up schemes
that led to trouble~ no doubt!

The time we followed Gary Curto
to the movies and on the bus,
He and his friend took J.M.
and we wondered what's the fuss.

We sat a row behind them
seeing hands busy on her
You got so very angry
and the rest is a blur!

Remember acting like performers
Singing "Remember...walking in the sand'
We'd rehearsh over and over
Listening to your command!

Making our Confirmation, Graduation,
then meeting up at our reunion,
It was so great to see you
feelings of joy ~ no confusion.

Now, many years have passed
and I guess I'm nearing my end
So with much love I write this
To my dearest lifetime friend.
