Black Corset Poem by Joseph Narusiewicz

Black Corset

Rating: 0.5

Dry sultan air like a dead cave
She crawls with magnificent pain
Numb bodies gather like crows
Thunderbolts of gothic armor

Destiny runs out of time
Your life feels the clock
Illusions lift in the morning sun
Himmler bites his cyanide

The earth a shattered lover
Chemicals crest the crown of man
Kings swept away by the seals
Barren hearts out of lust and greed

Your name in the fate of agony
Altars of fear and rage
Ignominy written in the black stone
The terrible wind blows like melancholy

Vanity collects her idols
Hurricanes of fire level the towers
I am in love with a pirate
Her sate eyes despise me

We have lived for the moment
Scalded by the serpents dust
No promised land, no more erections
Prodigal moon shines on her black corset

Bravo! Tremendous finish! I am in love with a pirate, her sate eyes despise me, one of many great lines in this poem.
