Blank Page Poem by ben burgess

Blank Page

Rating: 4.8

Here is a brand new page,
It was empty before I wrote on it today,
Just a blank piece of nothing,
No signs of life until I wrote something.

But now suddenly there’s a little to read,
It becomes alive from the inside of me,
Given some thought and direction,
This poem can reach you if you make a connection.

Something that you can relate to,
Even though I don’t even know you,
That’s the power of these few words,
If you’re on the same page and verse.

We all can relate to being like this page once was,
When we have days we feel empty and lost,
But let’s be happy and live life to the full,
Because before we know it the page is empty and dull.

Are you a blank page?
