Blanket Me With Your Love Poem by Dorsey Baker

Blanket Me With Your Love

Its such a cold
winter night
wrap me up tight
Come here baby
blanket me with your love
baby blanket me with your love

When the snow is falling
and everything turns white
When the moon and the stars
show their light
come here baby
blanket me with your love
just blanket me with your love

When winter comes
and the chilly wind
starts to blow
when the temp goes twenty below
Come here baby
blanket me with your love

Human warmth is the best kind of blanket, of all. Dorsey the minstrel does it yet again, with his charming sing-song style! Minstrel: 1.) A medieval musician who sang or recited to the accompaniment of instruments. 2.) A musician, singer, or poet. (And I suspect that he fits all 3 descriptions of definition # 2!)
