Blind Poem by Joseph Cross

Blind

I once looked on her,
With blinded gaze.
Tortured by beauty,
And fearful from love.
She walked at my side,
Close as a friend,
But never letting me closer.
Time and again,
I asked myself why,
But the answers never came.
Soon I began to see the truth,
My eyes became clear,
And the fog disappeared,
Revealing the true girl,
I thought I had loved.
Now I can see,
She could never love me,
At least not more than a friend,
And I must move on,
With open eyes,
And search for the one,
Who can love me,
More than she ever could.

Wonderful poem Ah, if only love could make the one you love to love you back... Life still goes on, even with this broken heart
