'' Blind Faith Is A Dangerous Game '' Poem by Bri Mar

'' Blind Faith Is A Dangerous Game ''

Here's the twist,
Do we really exist,
Placed here by a being supreme,
In his tryst,
If we resist,
Will the creator make us all scream?

If you believe,
You may still grieve,
If you don't obey his commands,
The tales we weave,
Can and will deceive,
On ourselves we make heavy demands.

The invisible one,
Is never done,
Dictating just how we should live,
Does he have fun,
Making us run,
Always begging him to forgive.

Heresy they shout,
If their god you doubt,
They'll then condemn you to Hell,
As their threats pour out,
God's mercy they flout,
That does leave a terrible smell.

If your God is there,
Is he fully aware,
To our cruelty he seems to be blind,
Does he really care,
We are in despair,
As to assist he seems disinclined.

Does it contravene,
His daily routine,
When all we have for him is a name,
How can you demean,
What can't be seen,
