Unfamous men who visit Fingal’s cave,
apply two methods when they start to rave,
attempting to describe the waves and fog
with photos and the blather of a blog,
but Felix Mendlelssohn in his transcription
of ocean voices off the Hebrides
provided desolation a decryption
that still is read by non-celebrities.
Rich Caparella on KUSC on October 6,2009 introduced Mendlessohn’s Hebrides Overture by saying that nowadays when people tour Fingal’s cave they are inspired to write a blog, whereas Mendelssohn conveyed the experience in music.
