Blood Red - Poem by Håvard Reiersgård

It’s pouring down from the sky
In the silent night a woman cry
Running through the dark woods
In the burned house she left the goods

A little arm just fell down
Then a head with eyes so brown
This beauty of a little child
Ripped to pieces by something wild

The blood rain continue falling
But must keep on running
The beast are closing in
A battle that just no human can win

Feel it’s breath in the neck
Don’t even dare to slack
Killed for sure if it catches up
Think ‘bout love and never stop

The beast jumps up and bite the neck
Just fell on the ground and no turning back
Ripped to pieces and eaten alive
Now her child will never arrive

Ponds of blood and a sacred night
The child was eaten in just one bite
The blood red beast are still running free
You know when it sees you it’s no use to flee
