Blue Angel Innocence Poem by Dakota Ellerton

Blue Angel Innocence

I can nearly feel your breath against my skin,
the impure sanity I crave lingers bitterly in my mouth.
The beautiful sensation of a solitude nothing surrounds me.
I'm seeking only answers,
to the questions I myself could never speak.
'To whom it may concern' I begin to type,

'You and I have spoken of so much lonliness,
for once and forever, we will ask questions.
I search for a better future, as she begins to strengthen within.
You'll look at her, and see the greatest parts of us.
Her skin as soft as clouds, will wrap around your fingers
until you succumb to her innocence. She's going to have your eyes.'

The darkness in my eyes begins to threaten my faith,
insanity is my ultimate plee.
Promise to protect her,
as if nothing else mattered.
She will be your savior.

Jaw dropping work. You have a really high vocab level and can put words in an order to amaze many. Talent that should not be hidden but brought out look into stuff and find a place you feel comfortable on and work with it. You can make it far. I am glad I read this I really like the last part the darkness in my eyes begins to threaten my faith. That spoke to me deeply we all have faith but sometimes it can be hidden my the darkness we keep and refuse to show, Our faith is a beautiful thing and a gift that is beauty. They say poetry is a decedent of an angels cry and I can see where it comes into play on your poem. Remarkable.
