Blue, Silver Mustang Poem by Kewayne Wadley

Blue, Silver Mustang

Come on, Let's take a ride.
Cruising uptown.
Viewing the sights.
Detouring the troubles of the day.

Cruising away. Viewing the lights.
Passing the mansions in the suburbs.
Detouring the troubles of the day.
Listening to the music on the radio.

Let's pass by the mansions.
As money can't buy happiness.
Listening to the songs on the radio.
Watching the sights.

Happiness, the sight of your lips.
Intimate, the look passed eye to eye.
Watching the sights.
As the lights flicker on.

Intimate, the look passed eye to eye.
Cruising uptown.
As the lights flicker on.
Come on, Let's take a ride
