I collect your thoughts and prayers along the way
You still collect their souls and bones that won't stay
Will they answer to come out and play
Maybe we'll just taste the rain another day
You were me beneath the sunset
Under the tides that we won't forget
Before sunshine comes the rain
We're washed down the drain
Hear me now or see me there
Wait for me but I won't be anywhere
I won't forget you
I won't forget what you've done
You won't deny what's been undone
I watched you slip into the cracks crossing through portals
You've broken me to drink to the bottom of bottles
It didn't matter what was in front of you or what your eyes would see next
Bruises on my skin from my chest to my legs
Down to the bone I avenged you too
It was about who was following behind you
The one that followed behind you was me
You won't forgive what your soul's about to see
You thought this was all about you but you were wrong
Too bad your ears won't hear the end of this song
I tear you apart
Let's go back to the start
You put yourself back together
Your heart fails all together
Something pulls us in
We've already committed the sin
In my mind I've dreamt of the things we've done
No one is left now I've come undone
I talk to you in poetry
You speak about the sea
I tell you my secrets
You speak of the ocean's creatures
I don't know the words that are written inside of you
I want to hide inside your soul until your words have emerged through
I want to be your worst habit
Every waking moment as my addict
I'm addicted to all that you are
Tell me when to stop if I take it too far
Watching all of your mysteries unfold
Listening to each syllable left untold
Swallowed up by everything that you ever were
Divulging all that I am inside the moon's blur
So many voices but the feelings don't change
So many faces but the voices are the same
Where are you when I'm calling your name
So many choices but we still end up insane
So many faces but the feelings don't change
So many voices but the faces remain
We could return and put ourselves back to who we were
But it's just a kiss under the moon and it's all just a blur
