Blurred Love Poem by Kewayne Wadley

Blurred Love

In a Blur,
I didn't need you,
We threw our words back and forth,
Were we ever really quiet,
Our eyes held a single belief,
A sweet truth, savored,
Just as the last few chews of flavor left in that ole piece of gum,
Who were we to decide how much change is left after a 20 dollar bill,
Who gets the bed,
Who gets the coutch,
Free falling forward,
In the shadow of your smile,
Is it possible to find tonight,
In today,
In a Blur,
I needed you,
What is hate,
In the park of praise,
Words spoke sliently,
Hands set voyage,
Heaven to touch,
Where can I set my bags,
I love to love you, away from the world,
In the shadow of the moon, on a spaceship lost for days,
In the shadow of your smile,
In a Blur,
I loved you in many a way
