God's creation of human body is a great piece of art in itself. Tattoos is an expression of self love, Narcissism, look horrible, and it is an affront to God. No body art.

I did once see a work of beautiful and loving caring art tattooed over a woman's entire chest giving her back her beauty and self-image that a scalpel and cancer had taken away from her. Bless her soul, it was so gorgeous. Otherwise, like you, I find tattoos so much less beautiful than the canvas they are etched into.
