Boo Boo - Poem by Gordon Jerome

They named you jewels
But your boo boo to me
A more loving friend
There just couldn't be
The first day we met
Your kiss won my heart
I never could of bet
That we would ever part
You howled at night
But soon got over that
And so funny a sight
In the way that you sat
You kissed me awake
Or whined to me a song
You would also shake
If your wait was to long
A piggy was your toy
Not the easiest to find
But her greatest joy
So looking I didn't mind
When her time is through
I will cry like any sap
But so happy for my boo
As she'll be warming gods own lap.
