Bridging The Night
An orange sun
shines from behind the trees
Soon it 'll be dark
but the sweet memories
of the orange light
adorning the beach and the sea,
will linger on 'till tomorrow morning
nights do come, sometimes it is dark in our life.
but somehow we have a close to absolute certainty
that the next morn is never far away
that the memories of love
will shine on, no matter how dark.. :)
you wow me again, why not...those imagery, metaphor, philosophy, simplicity, hope, flavor and the idea is a perfect mixture here, good recipe to serve us as your reader...with something refreshing and delightful...i think these days you keep writing new way, i love to see its growth, i love all of your work though (all are positives) ...Great wishes to your next poems to be shared later!
