Broken, don't you understand?

Rushing her back into the spotlight will never restore what has been lost

It's simply sad but true she's not the woman she was before

The illness has taken hold and it will never let go

Every day she and we must adjust to a new style of normal

You know who we all have to thank for this mess



Super stud first love broke her heart and her mind all those years ago

Poisoned her to sanity

Ever after that break-up she has been adrift and lost

A sad, empty girl never again a woman

Ripped her apart and left her to pick up the pieces

Such a nice guy huh?
