Brochures, Signs, Maybe It's Me Poem by Kewayne Wadley

Brochures, Signs, Maybe It's Me

Sometimes expectation rarely
Meets reality, it's simple when
You're looking for somewhere to live.
One moment your flipping through
Brochures & scheduling an appointment,
The next you're approved & ready
to meet the rush of excitement.
You never expect the lack of impatience,
or complications of something
that could be so simple.
One moment you're packed and ready
To move in, the next you're packed &
Ready to move somewhere else
Very rarely do we value what our heart
Truly needs, instead we go with
The first thing that looks good
