Broken - #64 ~ Poem by Theodora (Theo) Onken

Broken - #64 ~

Rating: 4.8

Love has had it's bittersweet moment's
Counting the day's and it's ways
Remembering all the teardrops scattered
Between the lakes & my heart broken bays;

Like the sea & it's many shores teeming
Love came and left much like the moon
Tides of regret have often held me captive
When 'true love' ended much too soon! ;

Remembering: David, Paul,
Sharon L. B. Rod Taylor (Your Witness)
Assembly of God Church
The Drive In- the last time i saw you
The wedding to Sharon (July 24)
You have ALWAYS held a place in
My heart. Hope that life has
Been good to you.

Dedicated to: Our Last Date
Your telling me that you and
Sharon were getting married
You and Sharon did get married
On July 24. Paul told me.
Today, all i have is a picture
Or two of you and another wife
I believe her name is Paula.
Vehicles have changed as well
Your RV is impressive but still
Cannot hold a candle to: 'The Northern Lights*~'
The one picture of you is way too small! ! !
Congratulations on your life and career
A Washington State Trooper, a contractor, a pilot
Your beautiful daughter Kate and wife Paula

Broken but not crushed.... time will heal the wound and you will feel whole again! If something is lost...there shall always a replacement, even better than the first!
