I have felt love just once in life
Then all my efforts were to prove my worth,
I do not know whether I will feel love again, in this life
By then I would have forgotten all about this past love,
Can you imagine a life without love O world,
Love gives us compassion and makes the earth a paradise
Tomorrow every sincere love will become an illusion
We will only be remembered by the ties we leave behind,
But before this life on earth comes to an end
I want to love again and be loved in return
Unlike how it had been before
When I was trapped in a fortress of fallacy,
Somewhere or the other there is someone destined, to return my love,
The face is still vague, perhaps a distant memory, from my other life,
Was the earlier love a red herring and am I born again
To fulfill my promise to a maiden who is a stranger today?
