in a flash i saw fire burst
crisp everything on her way
red blood drips from blacken
flesh hanging on smoldering
branch of an old oak tree
fireball just passed, quick
lightning pouring from sky
clouds kissing treetops, rain
steamy vapors rise to heaven
a silent cry from crevice
bare hand raise a cross
silence came so as pouring rain
