Hello David, I have lived your poem and love the sentiment but the following poem is always a reminder that life truly does goes on.... 'One heart break is enough to teach They say with thin smiles bitter, And I agree that love can hurt, But ah! I am not a quitter. And so I give my heart again, Not heeding their advice, Fore those who haven't loved Can't know, it's more than worth the price! ' (A poem I read somewhere as a child 12 or 13 years of age and never forgot) . Thought I'd share it with you...I don't remember the author... If you find time read my new 'Don't Cry'
I feel for you on this one David, it hurts...but you can and have moved on so much , by the sounds of it, good for you ALL THE BEST FOR THE FUTURE Love duncan X
You are often in my thoughts David, even though I might be away from here. Thanks for sharing your inner thoughts, all my love, Lisa Will be back soon
I think it's more like cleaning out the attic of old dirty things we don't want or need anymore: O) .....start clean and fresh to fill up again at a later date: O)
You have captured so in this poem what a person goes through when losing someone even though you have a wonderful marriage but you have seen enough in your life time to express so well in this poem what a person needs to do to move on and look on to the future. Wonderful poem David. Big 10 from me. XOXO Pam
