Burnt Perspectives Poem by soren Barrett

Burnt Perspectives

When a beating becomes a lesson and anger is dressed as criticism
then conversation is served from a delicatessen precooked from egocentrism
The dough of emotion raises quickly the baker put in too much salt
A tough crust covers it thickly who cooked it said it's not their fault

Good conversation cooked too long, there is smoke in the air
The buyer says there is something wrong, in this piece there is a hair
The taste it is bitter, now the buyer has found a fly
Not all things that glitter are gold in a buyer's eye
