Butterflies Down The Throat Poem by Kewayne Wadley

Butterflies Down The Throat

Rating: 5.0

I was a butterfly,
Exploring how I felt
Inside of her stomach.
I followed the sun into
her mouth.
I once lied because I was
Afraid of the truth,
Now I search feverishly
Trying to relieve that one
moment of truth.
You'll never know how good
It feels to be free
