Butterfly Song You Sing To Me Poem by Dawn Novus

Butterfly Song You Sing To Me

Rating: 5.0

If a butterfly had a sound, a butterfly song
Like the bumble bee humming
Like the cicada's stunning chirring summer song
Joyfully flower hoping
Romancing the sun. Having no other purpose than delighting the beholders of their sacred beauty
I imagine it would be your honey voice
Uttering these words
Your voice, voicing my heart space
Is what the butterfly's song
Would sound like
But only for me does the butterfly sing.
A mere thousand butterfly wings
Move up and down your spine
As your read these lines
Making you feel the note of extacy
Butterfly song at its sublime zenith
What a beauty filled butterfly song
You sing only for me.

Dear midnight, you have astutely inscribed this poem on love and life through a butterfly. You feel your lover has beauty like butterfly and or its song like bumble bee humming or like the cicada's stunning chirring summer song. Wonderfully crafted and amazingly shared.10
