By Day I Might Finger My Fiddle Poem by Lawrence S. Pertillar

By Day I Might Finger My Fiddle

By day I might finger my fiddle
But at night I reserve exclusively
To the playing with my flute
And when I am through
With my playing of it
I notice how quickly
This helps me snooze
It has been a long time
Since I've been invited to do a duet
