Bye Poem by Rajeswari A V

Bye

The sky that witnessed our foremost gaze
Has lost its colorful rainbow
The rainfall with a bunch of pearls
Is all gone for once and all
If you hunt for some magic charm
That nature gently granted long ago
You will meet up with the piercing pin
And will feel the prick of reality

I was mellow and mirror-like
So that I could reflect your mind
Which sewed a blissful bond
Between you and me by the lace of words
But, no more I’m a cracking mirror
That held a thousand imageries
I’m out of ties that once were my solace
And can fly up freeing myself
After grinning at my grave history
To the nameless world full of strangeness
Can you dig out the same warmth
In the company of this new one
Who is altered by all means
From the one you have known for a while?
