Calico pussy on the front step,
A little female cat.
From out of nowhere she slowly crept,
And on the top rung sat.
She looked up at me and uttered a meow,
Her green eyes captured me.
She had to be lost and anyhow,
She did not try to flee.
So I picked her up so easily,
And got her a bowl of milk.
And caressed her back so gently,
Her fur so like fine silk.
And now she lives at peace with me,
And has kittens of her own.
Only females are Calicos you see,
And she has got four clones.
