Calliope Poem by John Leroy Maxwell

Calliope

Rating: 2.5

Revelation comes from my Muse of eloquence
With her mind, unanimously for men and women equally
Expressing moral approval or disapproval
She sings of the origin of the Poetic world
Do not betray her divine influence
Those whom Calliope wishes to destroy,
she first drives mad
So passes away the glory of inspiration
