Camouflaged Insanity Poem by Lawrence S. Pertillar

Camouflaged Insanity

A camouflaged insanity.
Buffed up to cover,
A corruption that disrupts.
This camouflaged insanity,
Has made its presence done to sit...
Openly to smother,
Logic.
And minds remaining sane.
Hoping their brains,
Will be saved.
From devastating contamination.

"Good luck, suckers.
And others choosing to suffer."

A camouflaged insanity.
Promising to sicken,
The consciousness of all mentalities.
With a doing to over-rule truth.
While feeding a duping,
Too delicious to feast upon.
No one teased and tempted can refuse.

"Good luck, you suckers.
And others daring to resist,
The painlessness it is.
To accept and go through,
What is offered to you.
Ultimate benefits...
Of becoming totally thoughtless.
A numbing to the bone you never knew."

A camouflaged insanity.
Buffed up to polish.
And buffer over what's corrupt.
Has made its presence felt and allowed to
sit,
High and granted to do this...
In positions of leadership.
Smothering truth and logic.
With this permitted,
By those lovers of delusions.
Tastefully impressive.
And delicious when presented.
Denying and defying reality.
