You say you love me
and that I'm beautiful.
And I'm not about to deny, I like the thought.
And it's sweet.
But you don't see it all.
I'm not as beautiful
as you think.
I have some pretty nasty cuts.
You don't know
just how sad I really am.
You seem like the type I'd date,
funny, sweet, and you treat my right.
But,
I've realized
your too innocent.
You don't realize
all the darkness about me.
And I'm not about to make you see it.
I can't do that to you.
And I'm not about to take away
your friend
just because he wants to date me too.
Not going to throw myself between you two.
I'm not good for you,
