Blood
I opened my heart to you
And you stabbed it through with a knife
and you said: I love you forever, please understand.
The last words I heard as I took in my dying breath,
Uttered from your lips.
The last thing I saw, with my now glazed over eyes,
Was you
standing over me with the knife now bloody
with our blood.
