{ Can You Hear The Soft Whispers Of My Heart? }

The soft whispers, the violent screams, the wimpers of self induced pain. My life such a crime that it was wasted on this earth, molested by the winds, raped by the sun, murdered by the fire. I am a victim of this earth, attempting to live and die at the same time.

You cannot tell me how impossible it is to live with a pessimistic attitude. I already know. I am not ignorant, I am not all knowing.
~~ I am trapped ~~

In this world we are allowed only one freedom at a time. My hands are free to write, yet I am blindfolded. I can only hear what I am told. When I have grown old enough that I may see what is truely happening, my hands will be crippled with arthritis, my voice too soft to be heard. This
is why only the very willing can learn from the elderly.
This is why our world is dying

My life is pitiful
My world is small
My views are narrowed
My mind is bound

I am controlled by this world. The same one I want desperately to abandon.

*My life *My life *My life *

My society induced labyrinth with no center to find.

The soul makes this bounded life explore to the ends of the universe....we can make another world, another life, out if what we have now.By writing, you are expressing what you can modify. Well done!

I agree with Omar that the life has a bright side and also dark side.
I won't tell you be optimistic and that the life is pink...! ! , because i am pessimistic..but i want to tell you something, this life go on by force, and we are mortals.
So try and i will try too to look at the bright side of the life :)

You share the experience of your personal 'black dog' with great power and originality. Sometimes the best poems come from the depths of despair. One can only hope that the sharing of your darkest thoughts may help you overcome the anguish of your angst. A fine poem. Love, Allie ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥

In this world we are allowed only one freedom at a time. My hands are free to write..................................jenwe are prisioner of thoughts and no one can keep us as bonded for ever...nature is not cruel as we think so..It is thought which emnatees from our mindand heart andthat compels us to bepresioner or molested.we have freedom of thoughts and ourhands are for creation..even in creation you create such marvalous thing which evenHE might have not thought of...so nicely worded poem and all kudos fromme for your brave front......10

I am a victim of this earth, attempting to live and die at the same time.............oh what an expression that splashes across the mind onshore brilliantly curved at the altar own introspection, even mighty king of kings would stand and stare to the soliloquy, how man feels cripplers and helpless at the end of his journey as when inflicted upon and haunted at various niche of life by the cruel inevitability, ingeniously wrought by imagery and metaphors by mortality of captive man, yet of unique genre and thought provoking, innermost stance awes....10+++, thanks for sharing

The emotion in this heart written poem, screams of the inner battle most of us have bared witness to sometime in our lives...How the darkness of depression can hold us down with heavy chains....No Escape....How we struggle to find the opening to freedom...but it feels we forever crawl in a big circle...getting no where...But I do know from these years of battling depression...there is light to be found...and I found my freedom through writing....and boy...it works...keep expressing....your freedom...is within our hands...we just never realised it before.......well penned...and well expressed my friend...10+++

Hi Jen, I can hear not only the soft whispers of your heart but the tremors of every single flesh and organ of yours, suffering from the traumas, in some, which were unthinkable to mankind. The tone of your poem justifies the agony you've been through.Having said that, I admire your courage to come forward to share your pain and I believe you're still recuperating.Great works my dear Jen.Im looking forward to read more of yours soon. You pour your feelings eloquently in your writes and the images are so vivid.

    Regards,
    Sulaiman
