Your haiku has that intense simplicity of the best haiku. Its that amazing transfer of the concept of burning. In line one it's the candle's physical burning but in line three it is the speaker's emotional suffering that burns. Line two is links the two dimensions of loss through desire. together. I see the lingering aroma as symbolic: life, art and love are always present and intertwined.

Lovely haiku in 5: 7: 5. Love is a yearning, burning flame! Thank you for sharing, Cigeng.
