POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
As a die-hard Maple Leafs fan, I am very saddened to have to write this poem. I believe that the majority of their fan base is feeling like this. It's high time that The Leafs organization trade him before it's too late! ! !

2) There's also something very musical here. I was reminded of UNcle Albert reading the first feew lines. And that has given me an idea....Brilliant verse, Richard.

I see the connection, my friend. Wonder if McCartney might be able to see the same? Excited about seeing your idea. Many Thanks for your support!

There are all sorts of problems going on with our teams. Here in Canucksland our captain has just gone Wild. This verse should be part of our national heritage! I think, if it were to induct literature, even the hockey Hall of Fame should induct it.

Call me an optimist, but I think The Leafs are gonna turn it around! M.J., I am honoured by your remarks! Can't wait to share them with my brother who has a miniature Hockey Hall of Fame in our condo. My Leafs friends will also get a kick out of your remarks.

I haven't been following hockey lately, but this poem made me laugh! Thanks, Richard.

Laughter is always the best medicine! Look at how much it benefited Norman Cousins. And extended his life. Thanks for reading and commenting, Kim. Wishing you excellent health, much happiness and prosperity in The New Year!
