Captive Of Self Poem by Pen Anthony

Captive Of Self

Rating: 4.8

Lately i am robbed of sleep
By the thought of you
You come to me
As darkness comes to night
I have not a concrete answer
To give my heart
I wish it could cut me some slack
I've said all i could ever say
I've done all i could ever do
To make you mine
I've grown tired
Yet my heart won't hear that
It still wants you here by my side
It's so selfish of my heart
To involve all of me
Yet surprisingly all of me sides
With my silly heart
