Catastrophe Poem by Asavri Dhillon

Catastrophe

Weary,
Of adjusting to the box,
To Frequencies that will never match,
Ever wondered?
How it feels to belong,
Yet not belong?
Each breath is heavier
You don't float; you fight not to drown.
Yet hearing the talks,
which do not resonate,
even though it's a life phase,
it makes you want to escape.
Might fly once again.
