Baby Breath Poem by Asavri Dhillon

Baby Breath

Rating: 5.0

The soul still slips on the black ice of love
The heart still sows seeds of kisses
The brain still feeds the atmosphere with insecurities
The Sun still shines trying to melt the cold away.
And now the birds unite and chirp
The flowers sway in the breeze
And them lovers walk hand in hand
Holding hands, scared -
Spring might freeze their hands forever.
And burn them away before the snowflakes fall.

Hi Asavri A new poetic experience. Love and are looked at, from a totally different angle... Lovers walk hand in hand Holding hands, scared Spring might freeze their hands forever... Very beautifully expressed, the concerns of love, how the lovers are scared of the world around them.... How fearsome is the world. Rather, for the lovers... A 100000.. Onto my poem list.

You have an innate sense of rhythm. The last line of a very fine poem is truly beautiful both in content and its musicality.
