Today's (03 November 2024) Poem Of The Day (POD) Members is 'How Katom Can Help You Sleep ' by Allison L.
But the drug is no safe, say doctors. The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has warned people not to use kratom because of possible harm it can cause. The U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration calls kratom a 'drug of concern'.
PoemHunter should stay away from eulogising such controversial subjects. The poem should NOT have been selected Poem Of The Day.
It would be interesting to see what criteria PH uses for POD. I have to confess that I needed to do a little homework about Kratom. The results were quite extraordinary. Unni, I'd be interested in hearing what you have to say about Canada's position on this herb.

The PoemHunter Administration keeps the criteria for selecting the Poem Of The Day a secret. For reasons better known to them. But, they should definitely stay away from such ‘poems' with themes whose accuracy is suspect
