Cavorting Through Eternity Poem by RoseAnn V. Shawiak

Cavorting Through Eternity

Cavorting through eternity,
sliding down mountains of momentous height,
standing upright, waiting for gates of heaven
to open up and take me into God's waiting arms.

do you MEAN momentous....or monumental? it could be momentous i guess. i chose this poem to read (after finding you, a new-to-me poet online) because it is recent and because i just used the word cavort in a poem today, and i NEVER use that word! i didn't know mountain sliding was the sport done by those who are waiting. sounds like fun to me. have a blast in the afterlife! thanks for sharing. :)
