Censored To Cancel Poem by Lawrence S. Pertillar

Censored To Cancel

Out from the woodwork.
And crevices quick.
Are those behind,
Their secret walls.
Declaring...
They are being censored.
To have cancel,
Their divisions to ignite them.
And their freedoms to obstruct,
Their public choices to choose...
To say and do,
A deceiving of truth.
Wherever and when,
This entitlement is abused.

There is no comparison,
To make...
Between those who protest,
Peacefully.
And others given permission,
To corrupt democracy.
All Americans have.
But a few believe,
Their acts of violence...
Should be ignored,
By law enforcing authorities.

These disparaging to damage,
Discrepancies.
Too long has been a way of life,
Inflicting rights to recreate...
Versions interpretated,
From sunrise to sunset.
For purposes to highlight...
Lies to tell done well to tell.

What is disliked,
To expose with heighten insight.
Is...
The ones behind the scenes,
Promoting racism and conflict.
Are white supremists.
Made to accept and convinced,
Their way of life...
They've been permitted,
To destroy.
Had been,
By themselves to build.
And truth to reveal as it is,
Has upset their absence...
Of a consciousness of history,
That annoys...
Their deluded lives to live.
Threatened by faces,
Increasingly diversified.
Although everything they own,
Was either made or created...
By others with fingers colored!
Or stolen to claim,
Ownership of it!

Now...
Who benefits,
From an instructed permitted...
Destruction? !
To have it censored to cancel.
