Centuries Past Discovering Possibility Ghost Numbers Poem by Terence George Craddock

Centuries Past Discovering Possibility Ghost Numbers

Rating: 5.0

it was an astounding concept
not unlike converting vast desert
wastes into fields farmland prized

we have the opportunity
of descending into ghost numbers
the ancient invented negative numbers
below dead end zero previously
nothing counted apparently

opened up entire new fields of mathematics
we might in time develop a string theory personality
slip into an alternative less problematic universe

or write multistyle seismic poems
so many poems I have layers noticed
start with zero letters and words on the page

This is simply great, Terry. The dream of creating much from little, something out of nothing, drives each person who is or aspires to be an artist. You've delved into the creative spirit. Well done!

The Greeks and the Arabs gained credit for inventing ghost numbers, negative numbers below zero, but I am sure other amcient cultures did the same, calculations by the Maya, data from the ancient Summerians was incredibly advanced, ghost numbers is incredibly important and useful in mathimatical equations, and when I looked it up, zip on historical data and facts which fascinate me; stuff about ghost calls on cell phones?
