Chances Being Taken Poem by RoseAnn V. Shawiak

Chances Being Taken

Jets racing across the sky, climbing through white billowy
clouds as they continue floating to destinations unknown
to we mere mortals.

Chances being taken daily as people fly all over the world
for various and asunder reasons, wishing to reach for places
that are as yet not inhabitated as far as we earthlings know.

Enjoying this wonderfully fine day, listening to coded rhythms
and their melodies, having a great time writing and moving so
silently through time in measures of chords, tempos speeding
up, slowing down and steadily climbing into intellect.
