My home near the Jiujiang water
Come and go by side of river
We live in the Changgan Town
But don’t know each other from our childhood to now
注:1)九江,简称“浔”,现为中国江西省地级市。
2)长干,古代巷名,故址在今江苏省南京市南。
Note: 1) Jiujiang, the abbreviated form of “Xun”, now is prefecture-level city of the Jiangxi province provincial cities, China.
2) The Changgan Town, a name of the ancient lane. The old site is in south of Nanjing City, Jiangsu Province today.
