Changing Attitudes Silently Poem by RoseAnn V. Shawiak

Changing Attitudes Silently

Calm, silent, looking around, noticing details of people's
personalities as they fall from within, tired and emptied
from a difficult day of working and living.

Spreading interior feelings out into the atmosphere, hoping
to find a reason for being in this world, thinking of atti-
tudes that have changed through many moments of life.

Capturing memories of age-old dreams and wishes when much
younger, knowing or at least thinking that it's too late to
matter anymore for passion and desires have been laid to rest
now in senior years.
