Changing The Face Of Reality Poem by Lawrence S. Pertillar

Changing The Face Of Reality

Tomorrow.
And each one to acknowledge,
Followed.
Replacing images to idolize,
With them to delude.
Insecurities kept to protect.
And stubbornly to keep.
Will slowly surface.
From darkened canyons deep.
To expose a battered truth.
Freed from shadows.
Concealing the unknown.
To make known what is real.

A need to re-write history.
With this to teach.
Revived from lies to have survived.
And restoring sickened mentalities.
Thriving in deception.
Denied the truth and dieting on alibis.

That one day.
When tomorrow finally does come to arrive.
Will be the day,
Betrayal and treason upon humanity leaves.
Healing mentalities to accept,
That which The Creator has designed to have made.
With no exceptions left.
To portray themselves as 'chosen'.
Chosen to undo.
What 'tomorrow' God will prove to stop.
As the changing the face of reality,
Arrives to open wide...
Those eyes and minds overdosed on assumptions!
