Chase Dark Storm Clouds War Away Poem by Terence George Craddock

dark storm clouds have death gathered
over Europe again a full scale war rages
in Ukraine again western media claim
Russia thought it would conquer Ukraine
in a few days a week already the war
has raged for over a year with promised
Ukraine Spring counter offensive looming
which means more escalation in this crisis
more injuries death blood shed looming

so much effort put into war preparations
so little effort put into peace negotiations
witnesses can see testify to sight war clouds
looming growing on war cloud dark horizons
why not chase away threatening war clouds
how much blood spilt yet still no cry for peace?
