Chasing Faked Images Poem by Lawrence S. Pertillar

Chasing Faked Images

If nothing else is learned,
On both sides...
Of an ignorant path to follow.
It will be eventually discovered,
Faked images to worship them.
More than respect to give,
And shown appreciation for others...
To make this known to openly express.
Without skin color or one's race,
First to address.
Coming soon,
Appearing on the horizon.
Exposing truth and its reality,
To see and believe clearly will be...
Those caring less who they deceive,
To fulfill their own selfish needs.
Doing this regardless...
Whose lives they destroy enjoying it!

If nothing else is learned,
By those chasing faked images to follow.
Imitated to delude.
Will one day awaken those to know,
Ignorance is detrimental...
To anyone's mental stability.
And physical well being.
No matter what color.
Religious affiliation.
Or whether they are liberal,
Conservative.
Or an atheist declaring,
To be a visitor from Mars!
Chasing faked images delivers just that.
An existence to find it faked.
